Remote for 10+ years
Remote for 10+ years

Hey All-- I've been remote for years. In that time, I've consulted, worked for startups, lead a nonprofit as well as a commercial company. It takes alot of discipline. Sure, you've got to get the work done, but the bigger piece is that the onus for communication is on you, especially if the majority of your teams, like mine have been, are in office. I've spent years being the boots on the ground in Silicon Valley and although remote, attending literally countless events and networking. Recently, I joined a co-working space, and I love going there a couple times a week. I think it's all about finding the right mix for yourself. Look forward to connecting with folks here and IRL for anyone in SF / Bay Area!
