Hi Elphas!
Why do we hold up career advancement as the gold standard of success and adulting in our culture?
Why does NOT wanting to advance in your career feel like we’re “messing up” and “lazy”?
Why are we expected to aspire to this?
And if you don't aspire to "climbing the corporate ladder," how are you thinking about and creating a satisfying work life?
Come explore these questions and more with us! During our hour together, we will:
- Share insights around the origins of these expectations,
- Give you time to personally reflect on the career expectations you’ve set for yourself, and
- Lead a discussion to learn from each other on how to navigate these career decisions.
