Morning, Elphas! A fun question to start the day and to learn more about each other...What was your first job you've ever had (and how old were you) and what is your job now?My first job was a seasonal retail worker at MERVYN's (shout out to you if you remember that store) and I also made salads at a restaurant when I was 16. Now I'm an account manager developing client relationships and supporting employees (as well as an Elpha member wahoo!)How about you all?

I love it! The common denominator is that you've always helped others :) I started as a babysitter/French tutor and I am now running the global division for a VC fund and accelerator - working with founders from all over the world looking to enter the US market. I am also a proud Elpha member/community manager :)

My first unofficial job was babysitting kids from the neighborhood and from my family's church. My first "official" job (required an application and I was paid regularly by check) was at the local community pool, over the course of three summers, I worked in the concession stand, at the front desk, as a lifeguard, and also teaching swim lessons (that was my favorite part!) Now I work in product analytics for Expedia Group, analyzing user experiences and features for our business travel booking platform, Egencia.
