I’ve been writing on Medium since 2018. I admit that I use the word “writing” very loosely here. I’ve mainly copied articles that I published on my blog. My point about using Medium has not to become a millionaire but rather to have another platform to communicate my message “Inclusion is a practice”.

To be fair, Medium was also my first opportunity to publish on e-magazines: UX Collective and Women 2.0.

This week I received the ultimatum from Medium that they’ll take me out of the “partner program” if I don’t get 100 followers by March 2nd.

My first and second thoughts were “I don’t care, I never got into Medium to make money”. And then I thought that without the partner program, I may not be able to submit my articles to Medium e-magazines…

My third thought? bell hooks quote: “No black woman writer in this culture can write "too much". Indeed, no woman writer can write "too much"...No woman has ever written enough.”

No “white able immigrant non-native English speaker middle-aged female engineer passionate about inclusion in tech”, a.k.a me, has ever written enough!

So here is the 3- options plan:
