A little inspiration for celebrating New Years during 'Ronahttps://withpillar.com/join-waitlist

My experience is that New Year Eve = anticlimactic, but frankly 2020 is taking this holiday season to a whole new level. Navigating NYE inspired our lead Integrative Wellness Coach Lauren to put together a quick guide for the Elpha community.PSA: Does this mean you can’t have a glass of champagne to welcome in 2021? Hell no. It's just a reminder that we hold the keys to our experience this New Year.A penny for your thoughts:1. What would set you up to begin January replenished, restored, recharged?2. Which qualities, values, things do you want to center in 2021? What new holiday traditions could support these?3. “New Years” marks a transition. What do you want to leave behind in 2020, and ready yourself for 2021?Some celebratory ideas:1. Dedicate the evening to a little rest and relaxation. With the fullness of this year, sleep may just feel like the best way to close it.2. Cook a New Year’s feast. Plan a mini tasting menu, complete with some upscale attire and a candle or two. We don’t need to host people to treat ourselves to something special, so why not "host" yourself (the real talent)?3. Invest in a "stay-cation". Some hotels and Airbnbs are offering affordable, safe lodging, a get-away while staying within the COVID lockdown guidelines. Sometimes a change of space can do wonders for reframing our stress.4. Design your own ritual. Set an intention - What do you want to welcome in this New Year? - and then call-in the sound, movement, nature, aromas, images, colors, flavors that support you. Let your intuition surprise you!5. Make the evening an event. Whether it’s a night of face masks in a hot bath, brushing up on your poker skills or putting together a game of charades over Zoom, adding a special twist to this evening could be all you need to mark the end of this wild and crazy year.Have some unique ideas or journal prompts you're thinking about?
