Hello everyone! I'm excited to share that Women Talk Design just announced a scholarship for our 8-week Present Yourself public speaking program in January, in partnership with Figma.
This scholarship is specifically designated for systemically minoritized and excluded women and nonbinary folks. This includes, but is not limited to, women and nonbinary folks who are Black, Brown, Indigenous, disabled, chronically ill, neurodiverse, and/or LGBTQ+. If that's you, we encourage you to apply.
This 8-week program is designed to help you learn how to craft compelling presentations and speak (up) with confidence. Work alongside a supportive cohort while learning on your own time.
A few details about the program:
- Program runs from January 12th - March 9th
- Self-guided modules are released weekly on Thursdays
- Live (Peer-to-Peer Feedback & Office Hour) Sessions are from 5pm - 6pm CET on Wednesdays, starting January 19th.
- Final Presentations are on Wednesday, March 9th
- "Week 12" meeting is on April 6th
