A 𝘭𝘰𝘵 of senior-level job seekers come to me saying things like:
🤷♀️" I’ve never actually had to do this whole job search thing before. I just fell into all these jobs in my career."
Or "Friends have always referred me."
But here’s a gentle reminder for you:
You still had to actually earn that offer. That wasn't an accident. Nobody just hands out offers like candy…
The relationships you’ve made, the reputation you’ve built, the work you’ve done, and the conversations you have along the way all led to that offer.
You did that. And you can do it again.
(In fact, I'd say about 60% of the work I do with clients is actually just helping them rediscover how friggin awesome they are. That's why I love my job 🤣)
