Matchmaker / Marketing & Sales Manager

OVERVIEW:Right now I'm the only one running my cross-company matchmaking platform. I'm looking for someone to work remotely 10-20 hours per week to help run and scale the business. This would be excellent experience for someone looking to help grow and strategically direct a startup, or become a professional matchmaker, which is fun, challenging and rewarding work!COMPANY MISSION:To create an efficient and transparent marketplace for matchmakers and other professionals to help singles find and build healthy, compatible, and lasting relationships.RESPONSIBILITIES:The areas you work on and specific tasks are flexible based on your experience, interest, and the changing business needs. We can arrange any combination of help in the following areas:1. Sourcing singles (potential matches) online - on Facebook, LinkedIn, Meetup, etc.2. Social media management (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn & Twitter, and can start a YouTube channel as well) and news article identification and analysis3. Matchmaking - can take on individual clients yourself, or help me with matching4. Business development - forging partnerships with experts in complementary services that we offer to singles (ie. photographers across the country) as well as companies that can offer us discounts for our members5. Helping with the website content & directionREQUIREMENTS:1. U.S. based2. Native English speaker3. Undergraduate degree4. 2+ years of experience working in a professional field5. Professional sales experience6. Friendly, brave, outgoing nature as sourcing requires you to talk to strangers all the time7. Very comfortable with social media8. Interest & ability to potentially join the team full-time some day once we grow9. Ideally some sourcing or matchmaking experience10. Bonus if you have a wide network and are willing to tap into it to help get the word out!11. Must be able to do weekly 30 min. callsCOMPENSATION:* 100% equity OR 20% share of the business profit, depending on whether you prefer to make some (small amount of) money now or nothing now but potentially a lot more later - we can discuss the company's recent revenue & profits* Equity would be based on a $25-50/hr. rate, based on experience* Contractor basis for now, but as we gain revenue and if we work together well, the plan is to bring you on as a full-time employeeBest to email me at [email protected] and then shoot me a quick message here just in case.
