Your thoughts? A podcast for career and personal development

Hello! A fellow coach and I are going to start a podcast and we're looking to understand what would add the most value. Naturally, I thought of this group of talented professionals.

I'd love to hear your thoughts if you can spare a few minutes. Feel free to DM them or add in the thread. 🧵 Thank you 💗

💡 The Podcast Idea

Discover your secret advantage: your body's wisdom.

In the podcast, we show ambitious women how to break free from burnout culture—whether working remotely or in the office—by combining body-mind connection with conscious career design. Through real stories, practical exercises, and expert insights, we help you create a career that not only looks successful on paper but feels deeply fulfilling in your body.

🤔 Questions we're looking to answer

  • When it comes to career and personal development podcasts, what's missing that you wish existed?
  • What would make you choose this podcast over others and keep coming back?
  • What specific challenges around career success and wellbeing would you want us to address?
that sounds like a great idea! I think like many things in life, a podcast needs to have some sort of a brand associated to it and that brand will be bolstered with things like hosts' background (and relevant experience on the topic discussed), hosts' personality (are we approaching the topics in a fun lighthearted manner or is it more serious? the types of guests invited? personally I like when there are people who not only have lived experience but also have science backed experience (for lack of better words, they've studied, researched the topic in an out so any of their insights come from science / data - driven research) it's for this reason why I really love podcasts like the Huberman LabWhat would be helpful too is having either an IG or a newsletter where the podcast is also amplified, so your audience can immediately tune in to listen to episodes that might be more relevant to them.
This is a great idea! I think having your niche (of a mindful career) is perfect. I like listening to podcasts, but I don't like when they bounce around with topics because then only some will be relevant to why I followed them.
Thanks, @kaitlingraham! Are there any specific topics within a mindful career that would be really interesting to you?
Time management during the workday and outside of work would be helpful! I'm good at managing my time professional, but finding time for mindfulness can be a challenge.
If you were to ask me I'd say aging as a woman in the workplace is way more of a hot topic than burnout.
