Some of us are able to be our full selves early in life, and for others, it takes longer. Join us this week to meet Kenna Fisher, formerly known as Ken.While Kenna knew she was female when she was six years old, she didn't tell a soul for 30 years. She only expressed herself privately, trying on her sister's clothes when the family was away. Kenna finally came out at the age of 58 and has spent the last twelve years of her life becoming the woman she always knew she was. What's more, she has become an advocate and activist for other trans people. Kenna was the first transwoman to get top surgery covered by Kaiser in California and the result eventually led to a full range of procedures covered and Kaiser is now a model of outstanding transgender health care. Kenna is living her life out loud, and we hope you'll join us to hear much more from her.We can’t wait to see you there.******FIRST TIME?
