Newbie in the real estate game

Hello Elphas! I'm just starting out in a long distance real estate investing adventure and I'd love to connect with anyone that has any sort of skin in the game whether it's long distance, flipping houses, house hacking, buy and hold. Or if you have referrals or experience in property management, lenders, hard money, loans, real estate agents etc. Hope there's more of you out there! Looking forward to connecting.
Hello Hannah- I’m a buy and hold and a note investor. I don’t know where you live but I’m in a great group called WREN which is the Women’s Real Estate Network. There are chapters around the nation, mostly on the west coast. It’s a very nice group of people with Investors at all levels from beginners to developers. Meetings now of course are all virtual but the network has information and contacts for all of the areas you mentioned. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out. All the best to you.
I'm in California bay Area but it's so expensive which is why i'm doing long distance. I'll definitely check out WREN thanks so much for the resource! I haven't heard of a note investor. I looked into it and I see BiggerPockets has a good blog post about it. Thanks for mentioning it! @missystrong do you invest locally or log distance?
Hello Hannah, sorry I just saw this. My buy and hold is local, here in Los Angeles. I've never wanted to do out of state buy and hold. You need to get a really good property manger then you have to manage your manager. Notes are all over. If you have an interest you can join a coffee and notes group zoom call or c heck out Naked Notes podcast with Jasmine and Natosha. They head a group I'm with called the Note Assistance Program.Syndication groups like the one Iynna mentioned have a buy in usually 50K and above depending upon where they invest. There are all kinds. There is even one for storage facilities run by two very cool women in San Diego. There is multi unit motel business model as well. If you want to chat you can DM me I am more than willing to share what I know.
Hi Hannah, have you heard real estate syndicate? I haven't personally tried but I came across it a few months ago and found the concept interesting and did not realise it could be a thing These two women started a company on your side of the world actually https://goodegginvestments.com/And they spoke on this podcast if you want to learn more https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/how-to-invest-in-real-estate-passively/id1098802558?i=1000497155293
