Where can you find a creative or UX mentor that is preferrably free?

Also, if you have to pay for a mentor then they are not a mentor.
I'm not in UX, but I have found mentors through local industry meetup groups, coworkers on other teams at my company, and Slack communities related to my industry/function (data analytics). Also, I agree to never pay for a mentor. Paying for a career coach is fine but that's a little bit different. (And also can be very beneficial depending on your needs/goals.)
