Giving back: Offering public speaking and mentorship/guidance for early careers in tech
Hi everyone! I recently graduated from university and have started my graduate job in technology. Previous to that, I have had a lot of experience in different industries and roles in technology and I am looking to give back. I was wondering if there was anyone that could point me to the following:1) Anyone accepting a call for speakers - one of my goals this year is to do more public speaking, and I have thoroughly enjoyed sharing my journey into technology and have received good feedback about it, so I would love to do this more. I would also love to do more talks that provide a high-level introduction to emerging technologies, to encourage more people to get into tech. This includes universities, social enterprises and companies.2) A site or anyone that needs a mentor, especially to help with applications and getting internships/jobs at corporates and startups. I have been able to get roles at both successfully, and am looking to help students to get in, as well as helping to provide guidance to students in internships etc. Please let me know if you know anyone that may fit into these categories, or can refer me to someone who can! Thank you in advance and happy new year!
