🌸 ME: What do you do?

FOUNDER: We do this, this, and this.

All sounds good, but what’s in it for me? 🤨

It’s easy to describe what you do,

and the product/service features you provide.

But you’re missing the point.

NOBODY cares about you or your products!

What’s in it for them if they buy from you?

That’s what your customers care about.

Do this:

Find your value proposition

  1. Know your target customers
  2. Know the problems your products/services solve for them
  3. Know the benefits your customers will receive
  4. Know why they should buy from you instead of your competitors


  1. Write it down, 1-3 bullet points
  2. Refine it to read, “We help X do Y by doing Z”*

  • TO protect their children and save the environment
  • BY providing non-toxic and eco-friendly family products.

this can hurt but it is real.. the more you can connect the value prop with the needs of the person in front of you, the greater are the chances for the person to be excited to use/buy etc.
